Position Overview:
Botho Distributed Energy is seeking a skilled and experienced Solar O&M Engineer to join our dynamic team, focusing on the maintenance and operation of solar projects in various countries. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of solar energy systems.

Responsibilities:
  1. Supervision of Routine Maintenance:
    1. Execute regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities on solar PV systems with the help of 3rd party contractors.
    2. Identify and address issues related to inverters, modules, trackers, and other components.
  2. Troubleshooting and Repairs:
    1. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and communication issues.
  3. Performance Monitoring:
    1. Utilize monitoring tools to track and analyze system performance.
  4. Health and Safety:
    1. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all maintenance activities.
  5. Training and Knowledge Transfer:
    1. Provide training to local staff/vendors and ensure knowledge transfer for sustainable O&M practices.
  6. Vendor Management:
    1. Collaborate with third-party vendors for equipment supply, warranty claims, and specialized technical support.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in the operation and maintenance of solar PV systems.
  3. Familiarity with SCADA systems, data loggers, and monitoring software.
  4. Strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems.
  5. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
